Design is how I open doors.

I'm a senior UX designer at Best Buy, based in Portland, Oregon. I'm also a new dad, easily the best part of my year.

My strongest skill is finding common ground between people who see the same problem differently. Put me in a room with a store employee, an engineer, and an executive. I can understand what matters to each of them and turn it into a clear direction for the product.

I mostly design tools for employees. People rarely choose the software they use at work, so those tools have to earn their trust quickly. I treat each product like a space someone is entering: make the next step clear, respect their time, and never leave them feeling lost.

I also build. I designed this site in Figma and shipped it in Next.js with Claude Code.
